Voyage of Fire and Foam

An original acrylic painting created while listening to sea shanties in the studio. The piece grew layer by layer, the sky shifting with each brushstroke as clouds built in colour and movement. The ship rose gradually in the middle of it all, carrying the same pulsing energy as the music. Bright tones blaze across the canvas, alive with motion, capturing the feeling of being carried forward by rhythm, water and light.
